The “I Am Seen” conference is a unique opportunity for women of all ages to gather together and get honest about the ways we feel unseen, overlooked, or alone in a world driven by social media and self-promotion. In each session, designed to last 2-2.5 hours, author and speaker, Whitney Akin, guides women through a time of story-telling, biblical teaching, self-reflection, and prayer response. This thoughtful approach allows walls of resistence to be torn down and fosters honesty and vulnerability.

First, women hear stories from Whitney and other women to confirm that they aren’t alone in their struggles. Then, Whitney teaches from a biblical text to offer women hope grounded in God’s word. Next, Whitney guides women through a time of self-reflective journaling through a guide of response questions, which will be provided. This allows women to process and internalize the teaching which helps solidify the Holy Spirit’s application in their own hearts. Finally, Whitney guides women through a prayer time and encourages communal prayer in the group based around specific topics.

This conference can be catered to your needs and is available as a one or two-day conference. The content is designed for women of all ages, including middle and high school girls and can be tailored to a specific age range (for example, just teen girls). **Worship led by Eli Akin available on case-by-case basis.
